After failing NCLEX once and passing the second time, I know what works. Here's the 8-week study plan:
๐ Week 1-2: Content Review
- Focus on priority topics: cardiac, respiratory, neuro
- Use ATI or Saunders for content
๐ Week 3-4: Practice Questions
- Do 75-100 questions daily
- Review ALL rationales โ even the ones you got right
๐ Week 5-6: NGN Format Practice
- Practice Next Generation NCLEX question types
- Bow-tie, matrix, extended drag and drop
๐ Week 7: Weak Areas
- Focus only on your weak areas from practice tests
- Review lab values daily
๐ Week 8: Light Review
- Don't cram! Light review only
- Sleep well, eat well, trust your preparation
Most important tip: NCLEX tests nursing judgment, not memorization. Always think SAFETY first!

Failed NCLEX first time too. The NGN format threw me off completely. Second attempt I focused on clinical judgment and passed!
