What is Studyrift?
Studyrift is an online marketplace where students buy and sell study documents such as lecture notes, summaries, past exams and study guides.
Is Studyrift free to use?
Yes! Creating an account is completely free. You only pay when you purchase a document from another student.
Account
How do I create an account?
Click Register on the homepage, fill in your name, email and password. It takes less than a minute.
How do I change my password?
Go to Profile Settings from your dashboard and update your password in the Change Password section.
Refunds
Can I get a refund?
Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are only issued if the document is significantly different from its description. Contact us within 48 hours of purchase.
Earn Money
How much do I earn per sale?
You earn 80% of every sale. Studyrift takes a 20% commission to cover platform and payment costs.
When do I get paid?
Earnings are credited to your account instantly after each sale. You can request a withdrawal once you reach a minimum of $10.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
Go to Profile Settings, enter your PayPal email and request a withdrawal. Payments are sent within 48 hours.
Uploads
What file types can I upload?
You can upload PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT and PPTX files up to 60MB per document.
How do I upload a document?
Click the Sell button, fill in the document details including title, subject, university, price and upload your file. Your document will be reviewed and made live after approval.
How long does approval take?
Documents are typically reviewed and approved within 24 hours of uploading.
Downloads
How do I download a document after purchase?
After payment is confirmed, go to your Dashboard and click Download next to the document.
How many times can I download a purchased document?
You can download your purchased documents unlimited times from your dashboard.
Payment
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments via PesaPal which supports credit cards, debit cards and mobile money.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely by PesaPal. We never store your card details.
Copyright
Can I sell any document?
You can only sell documents you created yourself such as your own notes, summaries and study guides. You cannot sell copyrighted textbooks or publisher materials.
Who owns the documents I upload?
You retain full ownership of your documents. Buyers only get the right to read them for personal use.
